Waterborne™, Inc. products are specially designed for the detection and identification of Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Encephalitozoon and Enterocytozoon microsporidial species. We offer an extensive line of fluorescent antibody kits, with a variety of fluorochromes, for use in the detection of these parasites in water testing and clinical diagnosis. The detection kits can be used in a variety of ways, including immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, fluorescence-activated cell sorting, laser scanning-based systems, and immunomagnetic separation (IMS methods).
If your facility plans to perform or is currently performing Methods 1622 and/or Method 1623,
we are pleased to inform you that the following products are US EPA validated for use in these methods:
Aqua-Glo™ G/C Direct, Giardi-a-Glo™, Crypt-a-Glo™, and AccuSpike™-IR .

» The antibodies for water testing are available as combined antibody kits for the simultaneous detection of Giardia and Cryptosporidium or as individual antibody kits for the detection of of single parasite forms.
» "Reagent-only" kits are available in two formats: 1X (R-1X) which is a working dilution of the reagent and 20X (R-20X) which is a 20x-concentrated solution.
» "Comprehensive" kits (K) include 1X antibody reagent, DAPI, BlockOut™ counterstain, No-Fade™ mounting medium, SureRinse™ wash buffer, one box of 2-well SuperStick™ slides, and positive control.
» A wide variety of fluorochromes are available for these detection kits. Although fluorescein and Cy3 are our standard labels, we also offer several AlexaFluor® fluorochromes, AMCA, Cy5, TAMRA, and R-phycoerythrin. Biotin labels are available for those who wish to use biotin-streptavidin methodology.
